In line with its commitment to protect the athlete, NOSCM organized a seminar on the topic "Prevention of harassment and abuse in the Olympic and national sports movement".
The Session was held according to the following schedule:
- October 28: Athletes' session (at the National Olympic Academy)
- October 29: coaches and doctors session (at the National Olympic Museum of Mali)
- October 30: session of leaders (at NOSCM headquarters)
The topics covered are:
- Ethics in sport: facilitator Cheikh Konaté (Chairman of NOSCM's Ethics Commission)
- Harassment and abuse, perception, forms and types: facilitator Dr Sidibé Fatoumata Sidibé
- Prevention and Education: facilitator: Tounkara Kady Kanouté (President of NOSCM Athletes Commission)
Raising awareness, informing and collecting constructive proposals from sports actors furnished the 3 days of exchanges
