NOSCM’s mission is to develop and protect Olympic movement in accordance with the Olympic Charter. To fulfill this mission, NOSCM cooperates with governmental and non-governmental organizations.

NOSCM has endorsed the fundamental principles of Olympism. In this regard, it pursues the following objectives, in agreement with the Olympic Charter,

• Bring together all national bodies correctly set that are managing physical and sporting activities,

• Represent Malian sports movement in all matters of general interest towards public authorities and official organizations both in Mali and abroad, except for related National Federations and African Organizations;

• Promote the development of Mali sports activities;

• Contribute to popularize Olympism and sports in schools and universities education programs;

• Act against any form of racial, religious, political, gender or other discrimination or violence in sport;

• Fight doping in sport.

• Work to maintain harmonious and cooperative relations with governmental and non-governmental organizations;

• Spread Olympism’s fundamental principles at a national level within the framework of sports (rule 28.2.2 of the Olympic Charter).

• Help in training sports executives (rules 28.2.4 of the Olympic Charter)
